3 Laptop Broadband and Mobile are taking over - everyone is getting involved but most people don't know the small print that could cost them 6000. I'll quickly explain what Mobile is and then tell you the good stuff.
Mobile Internet means getting broadband speed internet - just like at home - not through your land line but through a mobile phone network like Orange, Vodafone or 3. Literally millions of business people, students, and normal internet users already love the freedom and convenience of this type of technology.
The technology is very simple; you just plug in a plastic stick called a Dongle in to your laptop. Once expensive, these devices are cheap and/or free - see below for more info.
Laptop Broadband is the term people use to refer to the fact that the ultra competitive Mobile Phone Networks such as O2, Orange and 3 now offer free laptops with their Broadband deals. You get to keep the laptop forever, do not have to pay up front and do not have to complete fiddly cash-back coupons and vouchers.

1. Each Mobile Internet package comes with a certain amount of data you can use each month. Go over this and get stung hard, especially if using it outside the EU. 3 charge 6 per MB so that's 6000 for a GB of data - about a day or two's casual surfing. And 3 are the second cheapest!
2. I got the best deal I could find -15GB of data per month for just 15, however, do not get what I got!
For 2.50 per month more you can get a brand spanking proper laptop worth 300 or 400. Considering you could replace your land line and existing broadband for this price and get a new laptop as well, it might be worth looking at.
